Home Poker Ledger is free, runs in your browser, and asks nothing of you. These terms are short because the service is small.

What this is

Home Poker Ledger is a calculator. You enter what each player bought in for and what they cashed out, and it works out who pays whom in as few transfers as possible. It is a record-keeping aid for a game that already happened, away from this site.

It is not a gambling service. No wagering, betting, staking, or payment of any kind happens here. No money moves through this site. There is nothing to deposit and nothing to win. It does not deal cards, run a game, match players, or hold funds.

It is free, and it stays free

There is no charge, no account, no subscription, and no paid tier. The site is supported by advertising. If that ever changes, the change will be announced on the site before it takes effect, and the existing functionality will not be moved behind a payment.

Your data is yours

Everything you type stays in your own browser. We do not receive it, store it, or have any way to reach it. That also means we cannot recover it for you — if you clear your browser data or press “Clear all”, the game is gone, and there is no backup on our side. See the Privacy Policy for the detail.

No warranty, and the arithmetic is not a referee

The service is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. The settlement it produces is arithmetic performed on the numbers you typed. It has been tested extensively, but:

• If the numbers going in are wrong, the settlement coming out is wrong.
• The “cover the gap from the top” option applies one particular convention for handling a chip count that does not balance. It is a reasonable convention, not a rule of the game, and it is optional for that reason.
• Who actually owes what at your table is between the people at your table. This tool has no authority to settle a disagreement, and the operator is not a party to it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss or dispute arising from use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.

Acceptable use

Use it for its purpose. Do not attempt to use it to operate real-money gambling, and do not misrepresent it as a gambling service. Do not enter other people's personal information without their knowledge — initials work perfectly well.

Availability

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and is offered without any uptime commitment. It may be unavailable, changed, or discontinued at any time. Because the app runs entirely in your browser, a page you already have open keeps working even if the host does not.

How you can check what it does

Everything this site does happens in your own browser, which means you do not have to take our word for any of it. Open your browser's developer tools and watch the network tab while you use the calculator: no request carries your numbers anywhere, because there is nowhere for them to go.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without limiting any protection you are entitled to under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
